HOINA

Incense holder in matt glazed ceramic.

Hoina is the Maori deity associated with Air, mother of red clouds, rainbows and moonlight.


SHAPES

The shape of the square, symbol of the Earth, contains the shape of the circle, symbol of Heaven, which in turn contains a further square, and a final circle. In this incense holder, Heaven and Earth chase each other to symbolically create a connection, a bond full of meaning.


COLORS

- White and Wisteria: This color is associated with spiritual enlightenment, inner peace and higher consciousness. Its ethereal beauty symbolizes the purity of the heart, represents meditation and prayer. It evokes the connection with the spiritual plane.


- White and Terracotta: White is the expression of creative imagination, purity, perfection, synthesis and co-presence of all colors, while the color of Terracotta tells of the bond with the Earth. It evokes centering, stability, warmth and reliability.
