HURACAN

Candle holder in matt glazed ceramic.

Huracan is the god of fire, wind and storms.

In Mayan mythology it is present in every story of the creation of the world as a creator spirit and origin of life.

SHAPES

In this candle holder the creative spirit, the development of life is translated into form by the geometry of the circles arranged according to the Fibonacci spiral.

Intertwined and connected circles compose a geometry that favors connection with Heaven.

The circle is the place of points equidistant from the center, a perfect symbol of totality, of dynamism. Because of its perfection, it is the symbol of harmony, a symbol of time and of the Eternal Return. A comfortable, complete geometry that encourages intimacy and connection.

In respect of endangered, threatened or limited resources, we pay great attention to the sources of the materials we use.

Furthermore, all our candle holders have been made with lead-free enamels.

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE CANDLE SUPPLIED

- Rapeseed wax, a totally natural and non-toxic vegetable wax (0% paraffin - 0% palm oil)

- Transparent container made of 100% recycled and recyclable plastic (0% aluminium)

- 100% cotton wick

We recommend that you be very careful when buying candles, because most of the candles we buy in stores contain paraffin, a petroleum by-product that releases CO2 when burned and contributes to global warming, just like the fuel consumption of cars. Both production and disposal pollute the environment.

It should also be considered that candles that are too “cheap” are often produced by exploited workers and in precarious working conditions.
